What would you like to know?

If you had the chance to learn one thing unknown to you, what would you choose to know?

To effectively educate people not to waste food and send it quickly to where it is short.
This is a great idea.

I used to dream of pure water for everyone everywhere. I've had the joy of always having it and would love for everyone to have it.

What? Me worry?
What do you mean by lost ? Please elaborate

When I was in the Navy many years ago we were sailing for the Med. We were about 150 miles from Bermuda when suddenly all our radios went dead and our gyrocompasses started spinning like crazy. This was just after lunch and fortunately it was a bright, sunny day so we were able to 'dead reckon' by the sun to keep sailing east. Six hours later, almost to the minute, our radios came back and our gyrocompasses stopped spinning. Nothing else happened (no sea monsters or ghost ships, darn it) but no one was ever able to figure out what happened. I can see where a ship or aircraft could be in trouble if this happened at night or during a storm.

Either particle physics or musical theory.
I'm horrible at math and a step away from being tone-deaf. So its probably like a handicapped person wishing they could walk more than anything.

Perhaps not. Care to explain in depth?
Sure, I figured you said we can know one thing. So someone might say building an engine or calculus, these one things (and any one thing) really involves more than one thing. So I figured, why stop there. Why not learn the one thing that encompasses all things. But this one thing connects all people. We see life subjectively, we try to communicate this subjective view, but this is imperfect. We can not communicate perfectly, but if we could know what others think then we could, or at least we would have a better chance. But process it for a while, to know what everyone will think. This really would be the most insightful thing to know. However, it would likely make one crazy. But c'est la vie, why not shoot for the stars?
