What's a good movie?

Somebody wants to watch a movie with me tonight. I'm not very into movies. It's hard for me to sit still very long. What's your favorite movie? Preferably it will be something that will teach me valuable lessons about something. I personally like documentaries for that very reason.

Imagine a scene where the bridal party is trying on gowns is a very exclusive dress shop after they had lunch in a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Haha

Imagine having spent about 100,000 dollars on a bridal shower (do you know what that is?) and the maid-of-honor trashing it! And then, imagine that just one person had to take home all the party favors.

A few good documentary series related to Science:
Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey (the one with Neil Degrass Tyson) -- Excellent coverage of a lot of Historical stuff about Science and information about how the atoms in our bodies are probably made of stardust from supernovas.
Blue Planet -- really fantastic about sea animals.
Particle Fever -- this is about the scientists working at CERN trying to find evidence for a theoretical particle and it shows Scientists reacting as the huge billion dollar machine turns on and starts reporting numbers.

Fictional movies that are somewhat funny and somewhat surreal:
The Golden Boys -- three old bachelors can't keep their house clean so advertise for a wife.
The Princess Bride -- lots of church people quote this movie. 'True love' is the topic.
The Hudsucker Proxy -- hard to describe. I love the surreality.
The Three Amigos

There is always time for something nice and relaxing like Alien.

Think of it as the Space version of "Guess who's coming to dinner!"
