What's Missing From RF?

cardero

Citizen Mod
Are you enjoying your stay here?
What would make RF better.
If there is anything specific (obtainable or unobtainable) that would make RF more personal, exciting and that would really complete the scene?

I for one would like to be able to right my posts in my own handwriting.

I would love it if we made it so that to get a ribbon we had to donate a few dollars to one of the charities associated with that ribbon (and present proof of it, of course).

Me, too, Jensa! It'd not only make the ribbons more meaningful to those getting them, it would (of course) be contributing to several worthwhile causes! (Of course, I'm saying this, knowing that I wouldn't be able to get any ribbons for awhile if it were so, hehee.)

Any of my thoughts are due to having played video-games for so long, so I don't think it's worthwhile to even mention them.

I wish you could specify which cause your ribbon is for. Instead of buying one with a billion different reasons, you should be able to buy it for a specific thing, to make it more meaningful. And when you look at people's profiles, you should be able to see what the ribbons are for.

I wish that there were posters from some of the other religions. We have a great mix, but there are a lot missing.

Thank you.
Just click the little icon of a mountain and sun (it's between the envelope and # icons) and put in the URL of your picture. :) If you need somewhere to upload it, www.uploadit.org and www.photobucket.com work well, though Photobucket is strange with registration.

We can. :) Just click on the little photo of the mountain up toward the top of the post in "advanced" reply version. It'll open up a little box, similar to the frubalizing bar, where you can put the link to the photo you wish to post.

I would like a section for religious dumbasses like me so we can go and "learn and practice" debates so we don't get chewed up by the jayhawkers and MICHes and The Truth in a debate.

What I mean is, some of us aren't good at religious debating.. WE NEED A SECTION for people
who are less knowledgable.

Well, there's a discussion forum for discussing, and a debate forum for debating. Debates can sometimes get heated. So if you can't stand the heat, don't debate. That's all I have to say.

Questions, debates... fine. But the posts where folks say things like those who believe in a God (or gods) are idiots, stupid, only believe in a myth or imaginative figment, etc are just mean. They serve no purpose other than to put people down for their beliefs.
You should try posting in the discuss individual religions sections under your religion/church. I've found that is the best place to have "safe" discussions. The mods are really good at watching those threads to make sure that no one puts down or debates your beliefs. They are also very careful about the types of questions that they allow in the threads.

You know, I was thinking I would put that, but then I thought, "No, that's just way too corny!" And I'm not corny. I swear, I'm not! I'm way cool!

It works both ways, dear. People who put others down because they do not believe in God or follow God isn't right.

Or people who are threatened with brutal torture if they don't agree with the posts (Member and religion withheld).
