I love aubergines

If you were to thinly slice a few and add that to some thinly sliced courgettes and then deep fry them all then you will have yourself a yummy meal, IMO :D

I do not care for kale

What can you do with an aubergine other than put it in the bin?

What can't you do with them?

They're one of the most versatile vegetables, and one I see used in recipes pretty much worldwide.

And there's different varieties. My husband isn't fond of the big fat ones, but he likes the little skinny ones. Less porous. I like the little tiny ones, but I have to go out of town to get them. Keep meaning to try the green variant one day...

Kale is a bit nothing but its trendy

Aubergine (egg plant to our american friends) is a must for moussaka, it's also a nice addition to roasted vegetable melange.

The trick is to prepare it properly, salting it to draw out excess moisture

P.s. voted I'm mentally ill only because i prefer aubergine isn't a choice

As I am mentally ill:

In the beginning, God created both and made loving them the narrow path to heaven. But bacon and haggis lovers rebelled and were sent to Earth as punishment for their since the truth is no way to exit the hallowed flowering aardvarks. So there.

Swiss chard is the worst vegetable.
Had to look up “aubergine” = eggplant.
Eggplant Parmesan if done right, is delicious.
Kale……well….kale is useful as a filler for calories, yet provides LOTS of fiber. Sooooo…..

But Swiss chard has no purpose other than to cause discomfort in human beings. It is the mosquito of the plant kingdom.

Just say NO to Swiss Chard!
