What's wrong with those people who deify a man?

Those people actually tell you that Jesus and Buddha reached the level of "The Responder to Prayer" and then they say that "if they can do it so can you". They tell you that those people reached the level of "The Loving One". And, so one joins the club thinking that he has a chance to reach the same level, the level of "The Giver of All". They (highest ranks in the club) abstain from breeding as if they are the unique ones.

Well think
First off Buddhists are not deifying the Buddha. Secondly, Christians believe Jesus to be more than a man, he is the son of their God. These religious groups are not self-deifying, that would be the realm of those who walk the Left Hand Path.
Most religious zealots want the rest of the world to follow their religion, because they believe it to be the right religion. Some of these zealots even murder those who will not convert .

Allah was simply a moon god in pre-Islam, his consort was Allat. In the theology of the Semitic pre-Islamic polytheists, the creator god was named El, Ilu, Allah, Eloah, and Elaha.

Keep in mind Muslims worship a rock . . .
Well I think Jesus is God none of that applies.

I don't buy in breed by the way those that did so always think you are more ungoldly call you a monkey sell you a religion think you need guidances angels a new daddy... pacify with drugs murder ... attack if its not good enough think you are the ungodly go fight in a war even towards females cut their children wait to take their country via religion
AND BREED. SO Breed is a very poor definition.

Oh and then they tell you its all in your head. And then they tell you God is all in your head. So likewise don't really know how one can be so mean. But its okay I'm over it.

All gods are nothing more than deified psychological projections and reflections of men. Only human arrogance and ignorance leads people to believe that a god would be anything like us.

@sovietchild,

I think you greatly misunderstand those that believe Jesus is God.

There are a lot of very different kinds of Christians, and a lot of different types of beliefs about Jesus, among, but not limited to -- anywhere from Jesus being God, Jesus being an aspect of God, part of the Trinity, Jesus being a really cool guy that taught a higher road to take in life (but came here already advanced,) and some believe he was simply a guy that attained an admirable state of being.

For a person who believes Jesus is God, it is not a matter of having attained, or reached, anything. It is contained within the belief about the nature of who he is.

You don't have to agree about who you think he is.

To those that do believe Jesus is God, your thread is likely to bring up the question, "What's wrong with those people that tell other people not to pray to God?"

How do Muslims treat Muhammad? Its not allowed in Islam to draw a picture of Muhammad because they don't want people to start deifying him like they do elsewhere.
Which, in essence, has deified him. You do realize that when I said that in your other thread, I was talking about Muhammed, yes? Muslims avoid drawing him. They grow outraged (demonstrably) when others draw him. For some reason (deification) he is above a normal man that can be drawn, photographed, and mocked. You treat him as a god.

Are you saying that Muslims treat Muhammad like he reached the level of The Creator?
