My beef with Brexit is it is responsible for this thread being 36 pages long and lasting forever.
My beef with Brexit is also that it involves the British who are always the bad guys no matter what!
No. We wanted what we joined: an economic community, not a would-be federation. And we aren't the only ones fed up with the Brussels bureaucrats and politicians: think of Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland.The UK have always wanted all the benefits of a European Union but none of the hassle, hence all the opt outs.

So, as well as corrupt and false slogans, Vote Leave has now been fined and reported to the police by the Electoral Commission.
What a pity it has no teeth, surely this sham referendum needs to be re-run.
As much as I'm inclined to agree with this, every time I hear a Quitler double-down on their decision with idiocy, ignorance and whataboutery;
While remainers are known for their "fear of the unknown" and they are easily intimidated by technocrats, Imperatore dell'umanità...
At first glance, I read that as "they've had enough of exports."But none of this apparently matters since Brexiteers are so feedbackophobic that they've 'had enough of experts'.
Start buying canned food!I agree with him, we should be prepared to walk away without a deal.

It is quite striking how the Brexit rhetoric has changed since the vote.I don't think it will be that bad so I'll stay with fresh food although the occasional can of beans is OK.

It used to be ... £350m a week for NHS; get our sovereignty back, we'll all be better off; scrap all these laws we don't like; it'll be soon all sorted; the EU needs us more than we need the EU
Now it is... well the £350m was never serious; we're handing our sovereignty to unpaid civil servants and judges who are too radical; we'll transfer all EU laws into ours; No deal is better than a bad deal (so much for it won't take long); We won't be too much worse off, food shortages won't be too bad; Northern Ireland errr, oh we forgot about that.
The Brexiteers have been saying this for 18-months now; I just hope they are keeping their cards close and are about to unveil a dream deal.As our Deputy PM said (and he knows the EU Commission very well), Bruxelles is not acting in good faith with Britain.
I know Mrs May can use very convincing arguments to negotiate and obtain a very good deal. I hope she does
