So, should my MP support Remain as his/my constituency voted to Remain, by a wide margin?

You know..."listen to the people"

What did he tell you before you cast your vote in his favour?

If he pledged that he would be supporting Remain and he was voted in on that basis, that would be the honourable thing to do.

He would have listened to the people, would he not?

He did neither; he was voted in in 2015, the Referendum was in 2016 our constituency voted to Remain. He voted to Leave and continues to vote to Leave.

I don't understand why it is different in Totnes, that you are so upset about?

The hypocrisy Leavers display over being okay with the fact that MPs for Remain-majority constituencies voted to trigger Article 50 and/or have supported the Leave side in other ways is entirely predictable. You only need to respect 'the will of the people' when it's their will.

I actually respect Denis Skinner; he's a Remain-supporting MP who voted to trigger Article 50 because that's what the majority of his eligible constituents voted for. This is what all MPs should be doing. Just a pity the Scottish Tories and Labour wouldn't know what the words 'representation' or 'consistency' meant if it bit their collective nutsacks.

You are the racist if you are always looking at the colour of a person’s skin.

Stop trying to deflect **** back onto other people - it's really immature. @Altfish didn't post a satirical cartoon using racist black stereotypes nor did he force you to post one.

That cartoon horribly misrepresents the situation it's supposed to be portraying so it's not even accurate which makes it even less effective as an attempt at satire.

Colour of a person’s skin is of no consequence in these enlightened times and I believe it does sum up the situation very well.

This woman is a good role model for the Remoaners.

Not sure how continuing to point out that a bad idea is still a bad idea is throwing a tantrum. Seems like a statement based on reason rather than being reactionary.

It would be more accurate to accuse Leavers of throwing their toys out the pram when they
  1. Voted 'Leave' to restore sovereignty to the British Parliament but began getting angry when that Parliament used that sovereignty in a way they didn't like - i.e. the Lords started using their unaccountable powers to ensure that Theresa May couldn't by-pass Parliament and thus avoid accountability. How did Leavers react? 'The Lords are traitors in ermine!' ; 'the Lords need to be reformed!'. Curious how literally none of them were talking about this before peers started doing this;
  2. Reacted harshly to the possibility of a second referendum. To you, the statement 'we have to respect democracy' only applies to the vote you want but not to the actual process of democracy itself;
  3. Got uppity when EU officials have shown less and less respect to ******* British politicians who have consistently been treating them like idiots (May & Farage specifically);
  4. Started blaming everyone else because May's government are just not able to get a good deal despite the people she puts in positions of power are prominent Leavers or 'repentant' Remoaners.

EU officials don't deserve respect.
And in fact I am very proud of our Deputy PMs who demean their authority more and more often.

So long as asians, mid easterners and africans are turned away at your border you are fine claiming not to be racist.
