What's your favorite season, and why are you so wrong if it's not autumn?

I love everything about autumn: Halloween is a season for me (the entire month of October), I like food on Thanksgiving, I like the first cool touch of autumnal air that brings out hoodie season (or better yet, hoodie-optional season where you can go out in a blouse but keep a hoodie nearby, perfect weather). I like the rustling of leaves and the deciduous trees changing colors and going bare. Though I abhor winter I like the holidays with friends, my chosen family; and autumn is the harbinger of their approach. (Winter is dumb because you get past Christmas and what do you have to look for? Nothing but misery for months).

(Also seeing peoples' responses from other parts of the world will be fascinating here too)

My second favorite season is spring: both for the relative temperance between winter's cold and summer's heat, but mainly for the thunderstorms. Nothing relaxes me more than sitting on a couch or a patio, reading a book, watching a good storm roll in.

Some parts of the world don't really have seasons. The annual range in temperature is +20 on a very cold night to +33 on a hot day. It's boring.

I'm a fall guy. Right temperature for hiking, beautiful smells, colours, harvest moons, and more.

Winter. It's the only time of the year where it gets cool enough to truly enjoy the weather.

I like Autumn or Fall because it's the perfect breeze to trail run. I like spring but spring/summer sometimes go neck to neck here and the springtime rain is beautiful but not running weather.

All seasons have their charm and also aspects I'd prefer not exist. When we first moved here i was fascinated how the landscape changed from week to week, not something you notice living in a city.

Spring is great, fastest change from bare land, greening forests and blossom... and floods...

Summer is time for admiring the scenery and avoiding the heat.

Autumn, again rapid change, i am very autumn colours, falling leaves clogging drains.

Winter, cold, sharp, fresh mornings, snuggling by the log fire. Ice making footing treacherous.

Autumn.

It's the end of summer heat, and I like the cooler weather.

The colors are breathtaking. I usually do a two day road trip at peak, or at the very least, a day trip to Cook Forest in PA.

Winter if there is a thick layer of snow, cozy mood. Only topped by days with heavy rain and thunder, an I can be inside :D

Summer is freaking annoying with all the heat, spring and autumn are fine as well.
