Tell something about your fourteenth year. In my fourteenth year I learned how to make tiny rockets using matches and aluminum foil.

On a similar vein. I think i was 13, maybe 14 when i learned how to...

...close up one end of a copper tube and drill a small hole in it. Break a banger (firecracker) and pour the gunpowder into the tube. Stuff the tube with a bit of toilet paper then drop a sawn of bolt (just a little less than the inside diameter of the tube) into the tube and pack it all down with a bit more toilet paper. Stick the banger fuse into the hole and secure it with a bit of blutak. Wedge the whole device somewhere, light blue touch paper and run like hell to the side of the tube.

Whatever you do not run in front or behind.

I attended a new school with a view to studying medicine (ie I was an unashamed geek). I started to notice girls.

When I was fourteen I was compounding explosives and rocket propellants in my bedroom. I found a mixture that produced a really impressive exhaust flame when poured into a steel pipe. To show my parents, I put a little in a pipe and aimed it into a fireplace. To prevent spillage I balled up some aluminum foil and tamped it into the pipe.(Need I add that I was chemically challenged and had no idea what I was doing?) Apparently when contained it didn't burn, but exploded. The recoil launched the pipe across the room and through a wall, nearly taking out my little brother.
My parents put a quick stop to my hobby after that. :(

(Why do people think the OT is Christianity?)

When I was 14, we moved again.

Because it is in the bible, it is taught to christian children.
Why do some few christians believe the story that lead to their foundation believe the ot is not part of christianity?

Edit, forgot to mention, it comprises of 85% of the bible

In my 14th year of life on Earth, I had sexual intercourse for the first time.
John Glenn orbited the earth, and Marilyn Munroe died.

Sorry, @PureX, I was 6 years earlier than you on the sex thing...
I do hope that both of your molesters have long since been jailed.

Yeah. Making homemade gunpowder, pipe bombs, and mortars was a good part of those summers.
Setting anything off indoors was NOT a thing my brothers and I did though.;)

As much as I hate to say it, I was the agressor. At the ripe old age of 8 years old, there was an 18 year old boy that fascinated me completely...he lived in the same Children's Aid home I was in. I was not molested --- he was.

In my fourteenth year, my older brother finally went off to college and I took over his bedroom. Once he was gone, it was probably one of the best years of my life - until he came back after having flunked out.

as memory serves.....it was that summer
the car accident

and I learned a level of pain of which the pain stops
I put my fingers into my injury and said to myself
THAT should hurt like hell
it did not

some say the dying don't feel pain

learned a lot that night
