When was the last time you cried?

What caused it?

I envy women who can cry so easily as some that I've known who will shed tears over a movie or something.

I'm pretty sure the last time I cried was years ago... alcohol or some other chemical caused it...it felt great!

Today, due to some pretty bad knee pains, deep depression and anxiety, IBS flaring up, a migraine-intensity headache, and frustrations with healthcare that won't give me anything prescription-strength for my pain and repeatedly giving me SSRIs for depression despite SSRIs consistently not working for me and their being other types of anti-depressant medications that aren't SSRIs.

I cried at the end of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

When I was growing up, it was perfectly fine to show anger but "big boys don't cry". That changed during a VERY intense psychological group weekend workshop when my barrier preventing tears was smashed by a "primal therapy" like emotional explosion. Since then tears have come much easier especially tears of joy.

Regarding the knees, tell me about it, I've got a torn meniscus in both knees, and a torn ACL in my right, and arthritis in both knees, and they can't go in and do surgery to remove the cartilage, cuz that'll just make the arthritis a lot worse!

They don't give me painkillers either! :(

Depending on the extent of the damage, they'll either shave off damaged parts of the meniscus or sew it back together. Or, in the case of my third knee surgery, replace it with cadaver tissue. Next week though I have a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon who does knee replacements for young people, and I seriously hope he'll replace mine. Honestly, I'm still surprised they did my fourth knee surgery because my ligaments and cartilage tear so easily, with one tear being entirely unknown of when and what, one being due to swimming, and another going down some stairs and missing a step. I'm not sure how many years now I've wondered if my life would be easier without my left leg, because the pain tends to get that severe.

It usually does after, yes.
I wish today was like that. Usually when I get overly stressed and/or depressed I can cry it out and feel better once it's out. But today my bowels said "not this time, *****."

Two weeks ago when my daughter and I watched Marley and Me.

That movie made me cry too...

...from agonizing boredom. That movie felt like it dragged on for five hours without anything actually going on. It had no plot or character development, and the dog's destructive and disobedient antics weren't comical or endearing to me.

Last October Sat 21st, I think, When I spoke with the healer that had seen me the previous Monday 16th.

Men who cannot or will not cry do damage to themselves, I think.

It's been a while. My husband's father is slowly getting more and more ill from cancer. He had to siphon some water of the dam. So I did too.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
I cried when i read the bible for the first time and it made absolutely no sense to me!

Other then that , only at funerals, very few movies, when someone i care about suffers too much, and when i suffer beyond my capacity to handle it.

Oh yeah sometimes total oblivion makes me cry to.
