Where do you get your news

I get it from you, then I search it up, because I literally cannot stand the remoras unable to remove their puckered lips from the Don's twitter account, fox hangs on his every word, and CNN bash him when ever possible.

What else that isn't trump happening on in the country, I feel no one is reporting it. If some banker decided to change your policy like Wells Fargo did a couple years ago(?) no one today would report it, they are too busy trying to interpret a presidential tweet.

I bet it's a great time to get some under the table sordid business accomplished in America right now. No one seems to care about what else is happening here.

There's a great article behind this chart which I find accurate as it points out which. But I think your basic point is accurate with a bit of a twist. Some of the media does care but it's not the screaming media. And I think the more local the media focus is, the more likely it is to hear about other topics.

I watch and read several news sources because because it takes several sources to get through any bias opinion or commentary especially when something sounds unrealistic. It takes quite a while to sift through the garbage these days but it’s i tersting to hear the various sides. Some people are natural skeptics and some not so much. Some news outlets are worse than others. Fox News for example has a couple of anchors that say something honest while Hannity and Gengrich gets pants on fire.

The chart has a problem.
Drudge is a news aggregator, publishing very little original material.
It links to many leftish sources, eg, Huff Po, Wa Po, NYT.
This is an old source, but it rings true today....
Media bias is real, finds UCLA political scientist
While the editorial page of The Wall Street Journal is conservative, the newspaper's news pages are liberal, even more liberal than the New York Times. The Drudge Report may have a right-wing reputation, but it leans left. Coverage by public television and radio is conservative compared to the rest of the mainstream media. Meanwhile, almost all major media outlets tilt to the left.

A wide variety of basketball sites, and podcasts. It's the only way to avoid Lakers bias, but also I have to recognize my own Celtics bias.

A steady diet of Boston news would turn me into a complete fanatic, and whilst we are the only true NBA team, we need someone to play against.

It's a little different to what the OP meant, I can see that, but weirdly the same holds true for general news.

That's well and good, but is it a ripe time to get some shady stuff done and slip under the news net? If the news gets ahold of it the stock market responds. Better now when Sauron's eye is distracted by an orange and shiny glow.

2 wrongs still don't make a right ;)

I'm not sure media bias is even the biggest problem when it comes to 24h news, the fact remains it's just inaccurate a load of the time.

The more media you consume the more misinformed you become. Even assuming perfect objectivity you are still exposed to mountains of incorrect information by consuming the daily news cycle (and it is not cognitively easy to fix exposure to false information simply by being 'diligent').

Yeah it is a lot of garbage though half the time I have to check several sources to get a full quote because the most constant bias I see is quote mining for the sensationalistic headline. The most sensational headlines tend to only quote a few words worth of an entire speech. I’ve seen it all too often around here in debate.
