Family, friends, church, Knights of Columbus, etc.Many people find their sense of belonging in their faith community. Where do you go for that emotional need to be filled?
Not a deist so.... Sorry if you are only looking for answers from Deists.
But my sense of belonging comes from family and friends. Also any group of which I find myself a part of which requires cooperation to achieve common goals.

Can't answer this here.As this is sometimes a problem, can there be some sort of color coding when a restricted forum is involved? It isn’t always obvious and it should be. Something to raise at the next staff meeting perhaps?

I do think that this sense is stronger for some people than others. We vary in the degree of social interaction we need. Being a bit of a 'hermit' type myself, I have less need yet I also know people on the other extreme of the spectrum. I definitely get my need fulfilled at the local Hindu temple.Many people find their sense of belonging in their faith community. Where do you go for that emotional need to be filled?
