NPR (and yes, it does rock!)

Indeed, indeed!!!! But I only get it in the car and most of it is classical music (which is fine by me!)

Had to go with the internet

How geeky am I that I put "Religious Forums, of course!" Heheee!

I try to balance it out a bit. I wish NPR came through better here.

LOL, yes it is. From my experience, both NPR and FoxNews are a lot less biased than conservatives and liberals (respectively) claim them to be. The actual news stories are true, it's just that while NPR will focus on all the looting of museums in Baghdad, FoxNews will focus on the rapid progress of coalition troops...and while NPR will normally have liberal editorials, FoxNews tends to have more conservative editorials.

Wow - that sounds like a recipe for cognitive dissonance to me!

Yes, Mr Sprinkles, you're a braver person than I to risk it! After a few hours of alternating between the two, I'm afriad my only coherent thought would be "Ow, my brain!"

Pretty much anything in print or that is visual. I have a much easier time remembering news that I read. Radio is nice but I usually forget what they said within a few minutes unless it was something of particular interest. I do prefer to get my news from reliable sources as well. Sources like World Net Daily and stuff usually don't interest me much. They just don't seem to be very reliable.

I voted Newspaper and Internet when I first saw this poll, although I am slowly relying less on the newspaper and more on the radio (NPR). I can't listen to too much news...it becomes depressing after awhile....

I trust the daily to which I subscribe. If I want more, I can always use the Internet. I don't want to watch the radio news schedules. I don't own a TV set, because I don't want to be tempted to look at the nonsense offered. In the unlikely event that there would be a TV program that might interest me, my mother (88) will call and invite me downstairs.

Hey...same here! Our NPR comes through U. of Michigan and is fanastic. Very little music except for things like Shamrock and Thistle. I watch FOX just for a balanced view point.

i try not to watch too much cable news...it's all the same product in a different wrapper and it's all poo!......on a personal note...any network that has to tell you they are "fair and balanced"...i mean it's like someone telling you that they're cool.

schnews.org is for news you wont read about at most news sites. The cheesy headlines always give me a chuckle and the content is usually straight to the point and untainted by millionaires' interests.

The BBC is reasonable for a mainstream arena and less censored than Rupert Murdoch's 'news'.
