Where in the world is Satan?

To play you have to assume for a moment the devil is real. If you don't want to play then don't!

The devil does not appear to be omnipresent according to the bible, as only God has this quality.
The devil was cast down to the Earth so that means he resides here somewhere spiritually.

Now imagine seeking him out and actually finding him. Where would he be, what would he be like (he or she for that matter, no sexism in this topic)? As a spirit force is the devil fast or teleportic?

According to the bible the devil is alive and well here on Earth. I was watching The Exorcist : New Beginning or something like that, and it was based on Satan's actual place of decent, pretty creepy premise, relatively speaking.

Any thoughts?

Joking aside, if the Devil were a real, physical Dark Lord in the world, his Dark Citadel would probably be... Tobacco companies.

assuming Satan is real and is the embodiement of all things hurtful and destructive, I would say he resides within the extremes, on both the light side and the dark side. Thus a saint could be just as much his tool as the worst of criminals. Just look at frollo from hunchback of notre dame. He was of the light, yet was so far into it that it blinded him to the truly destructive force, himself.

My mother always said satan or the devil sat in the front pew of the church, that's why no person ever sat there.

When you understand where the good originates, then you will understand where evil and destruction originates,....the same source, i.e. The Absolute which is the source of all apparent complementary opposite dualities.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

To truly understand what religion is meant to convey, it is necessary to see the distinction between the concept of uncreated absolute, which is unknowable by the mortal mind, which is usually represented by concepts such as God, Tao, Nirvana, Brahman, etc., and the concepts of the dualistic complementary opposite attributes of the uncreated absolute such as good and evil, creator and destroyer, brahma and shiva, god* and satan, etc..
* god the creator is an attribute of the concept of the uncreated absolute God. This is where the confusion originates, the word God is used both to represent the Absolute on the one hand, and on the other hand represents the creator, one of the two interdependent complementary opposite attributes of the Absolute, i.e. creation and destruction.

So yes, good and evil, positive and negative, god and satan/devil are universal concepts that exist in relation to each other in the essential and ceaseless 'play' of material existence. The important thing for students of religion is to not confuse space-time activities such as creation and destruction with the non-dual source of GOD in which they act, and of which nothing can be known by the mortal mind.

lol, hypothetically, I would say Satan is wherever Jesus isn't lol, which can't be true, cause we all know, Jesus is Jesus, and Jesus is more hardcore then Chuck Norris, at least, thats what I'm told.
