Where were you at these 'double digit' years of your life? What were you doing? What was life like? What was important? Any particular things that stand out, when you look back?

When I was 11, I was learning through video games. I had school, sure, but, I felt I learned complex concepts better through video games.

When I was 21, I was going through a lot in my life, and developed a few medical issues around that time to start to be resolved later.

When I was 31, I was spending a lot of time hanging out with this one guy, talking to them, and having an interest in memes.

11 elementary school, had recently experienced the first death of someone close. Musician.

22 Still in school, grad student, student housing, teaching, newly married, religious,

33 Just had 3rd kid, volunteering, immersed in parent stuff.

44 Kids graduating, midlife awakening, career taking off, an end to religious beliefs after abuse.

11 - In Woodstock, IL hanging rock lath in the new house my step-father was building.

22 - Going to Washburne Trade School in Chicago as a plasterer's apprentice.

33 - Starting my own business as a general contractor in Western PA.

44 - I was general manager for a Burger King in Niles, OH.

55 - Driving a step van delivering packages for Amazon in Cleveland, OH.

When I was 11, I was learning through video games. I had school, sure, but, I felt I learned complex concepts better through video games.

Video games can be a great learning tool. My son has learned so much from the Sims 3...

22 in NC helping my mom who was dying
33 In NC beginning my midlife crisis early
44 in MS establishing myself in a new place
55 future. Probably I am a ten millionaire and own a mansion but not a yacht.
66 Degree completed. Skin seeded with renewal stem cells. I am applying for a younger age on my license.

When I was 11 I was somewhere on the interwebs. Most certainly Yahoo Answers bouncing between the mythology and folklore / religion and spirituality sections (they were right next to each other). This was probably around the age I started to get interested in religious discussion, I especially loved atheist arguments of debates because it all made sense to me. Chatroom-wise I think I was playing Habbo Hotel at this age.

At age 22 I had just moved out on my own for the first time, and was in my first full time factory job. I was dealing with a lot of stress and getting my life together at this point (I had just gotten out of extreme drug addiction a couple years prior that messed me up)

I am (almost) 27

11 - I lived on a dairy farm and went to a small school of 1 teacher and 26 children. There were 24 girls and 2 boys, the girls chased me everywhere but I was too fast. I was a stupid kid.

22 - I was married for the first time and worked 2 jobs, train driver and farm hand. Girls no longer chased me.

33 - Still married but about to be divorced. Still worked as a train driver.

44 - Not long after a stem cell transplant because of a 2nd battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. About to be married again.

55 - Happily married, in remission and enjoying life. Girls still had a no chasing policy towards me.

11 - Hating school and most of the world.
22 - Still in school.
33 - Learning I really hate working for others.
44 - Learning I kinda like working for myself, so I stopped working for others.

Get back with me when I turn 55.

Wow... not that it helps, but I'm sorry that you went through that. May healing come quickly.

11 - Heading for Spain. Dad said he had a "surprise" - Went to a boat liner, said we were going to Spain and the real surprise was "and you are going without me".
22 - Going to Florida Tech, married and working at Winn-Dixie
33 - Had a born-again experience at 28 - now working in a church
44 - Had started a new church - position as Sr. Pastor
55 - Still at the same church
66 - You got it still at the same church.
