What could *possibly* be worse than Moonraker???
In general, I'd give Sean Connery a hands down for Best Bond.
As a more "serious" spy movie thing, I think Daniel Craig definitely gives him a run for the money, though. I was very impressed.

I go with Booko on this one. Just watched Casino Royale and it was the first Bond movie in a long time where I actually like the Bond character. Granted, Dalton(bleah!) and Brosnan walked into a cliched role.
edit: Besides, the line in Casino when the bartender asks Bond if he'd like his martini shaken or stirred and Bond replies who cares I'm in a hurry is great.
