The pink flowering ones are my favorite.
But redbuds are better cuz they're also impressive, & they grow faster.
It's the Oklahoma state tree.
They aren't the longest lasting tree around, but they're quite promiscuous & prodigious.I have one of those in my front yard..had it for about 18 years..its dying now.:sad4:

I grow saucer & tulip magnolias, but prefer the latter.One of the most ancient of the flowering plants which can still hold its own against the newcomers: the magnolia.
