I am very much of a dressing gown, slippers, sitting by the fireside in winter kind of guy; My favourite month is January.

My wife on the other hand is a summer lover; she even suffers SAD sysndrome.

In fact, I think I do as well, but the 'wrong way around'.

What are you guys ? winter, spring, summer or fall; which is you favourite ?

Spring! My birthday is in April. I don't like it hot or cold, but just right. I don't like wearing shorts (chicken legs) and I don't like having to wear a coat or hat. I'm a good starter and a terrible finisher, and spring feels like a start to me.

Mine is spring. It's the perfect temperature, and everything's blooming and beautiful. However, I love certain aspects of all the seasons. :)

I am a bit affected, like your wife, Michel, by seasonal changes, though. I'm happiest when there's lots of daylight. I remember I got very, very depressed when living in Scotland during the winter, because the days were so short.

Oh, man! I hate winter with a passion! And I also suffer from SAD. I like spring, summer and fall, but spring has got to be the best. When the last of the snow melts and the grass starts to get green and you see crocuses and tulips and blue sky again -- now that's the absolute best!

I love seasons! I wouldn't consider living anywhere where there were not distinct seasons.

i simply adore winter, i love the typical english idea of a white winter, with snow and bright skys, but i enjoy the streets so much more when its cold, wet and windy, as most the people want to be indoors :)

I'm really a winter kind of guy. I HATE summer. 60* is pretty hot to me. I like it closer to 30-40*. I don't even dress in winter clothes, because they suck. Winter is so refreshing. Wakes you right up.

I hate spring too. It's just summer without the enthusiasm. Same with fall. Winter wins.

Oh , come and try the North East Coast of England when a North Easterly is ripping in, can be invigorating when the weathers clear, but what I dislike about Winter is the damp, seeps into your bones. Mostly I prefer Summer, being a June baby, but really, it all depends on what you got going on.

Well, our winters are very wet, but that would be my favourite time of year if it wasn't for summertime.

You remind me of the weather forecaster who came on T.V and said "There will be a lot of weather this week end.............." :D

To all you who suffer from SAD, have you tried 'natural light' light bulbs ? - I understand that they can be very helpful.

Do you have associations with certain times of the year ? - I think my not liking Summer is somehow tied in with being expected to do athletics at school; the strange thing is that Autumn is a mix of sadness (when I was going back to Boarding school after the summer holiday), and some part of Joy (at the thought that I would be able to go and 'hide' indoors).

I personally am tied for spring and fall... I love the mildness comparied with the extremes we suffer from in summer and winter.

from -20(add on the -40 wind chill) in winter to +90(add on the +90% humidity) in the summer and this is in the nice lower elevations... ick. Ahh... New Hampshire, land of extremes and "home to the worlds worst weather"...

I LOVE winter. I like that crisp air that practically burns, I love having to put on all that clothing to go outside, and then I love taking it off when I get into a warm house, and feeling my self "thaw out."

I love autumn and winter. I love sitting by a fire (I'm about to go make one right now) and snuggling on the couch, watching a movie or football game. There is nothing better than sitting by the fire and watching a good football game. I have some fleece slippers and lots of comfortable sweatshirts (the kind you could wear to a nice resturant and the kind you sleep in).

Unless you live in eastern WA, there is no excuse to put on extra clothes for winter. I have seen pipes burst in Yakima because of the cold
