Some years ago I actually wrote to your air farce academy over some of those issues, just to offer an opinion as a senior NCO. Never received any reply, which I thought was kinda rude, you know, with the whole "officer and gentleman" thingFundamentalist Evangelicalism is huge at the Air Force Academy here in town. There have been scandals involving Evangelical cadets and instructors harassing members of more liberal Christian denominations, as well as other faiths.
And there is some tiny minoroity of Muslims in the military, and they get special dietary privileges donchaknow!I'm sure you will tell me it's Islam because a muslim walked past 500 miles from the military base once.
Do you have a reliable source for this story that you can direct me to?Islam is now telling the UK army whom it must discharge as a punishment.
Funny story. Back in boot camp (sometime around the invention of fire) our Company Commander was asking about religious affiliations of the 80 some guys in my company because attending a church service was mandatory. "How many Protestants in here?" Over half the company raised their hands. "How many Catholics in here?" Most of the rest of raised their hands. "How many Jews in here?" I think there was a couple. Then he asked, "Any atheist in here?". Well, one hand went up sheepishly (guess who!). The Commander walked right over to me...errm...the atheist, looked him right in the eye, and said matter of fact tone, "Son, you just became a Protestant". "Yes, sir," was the only answer that made any sense at the time.
As a general rule, any story that starts off making claims about "Islam telling anyone anything", it's pretty safe to ignoreDo you have a reliable source for this story that you can direct me to?
Exactly the example that came to mind on seeing the thread header.Fundamentalist Evangelicalism is huge at the Air Force Academy here in town. There have been scandals involving Evangelical cadets and instructors harassing members of more liberal Christian denominations, as well as other faiths.

Some things take more than a few sentences to explain, and posts longer than a few sentences get ignored. Videos are a way to sneak in a long format post without putting the readers to sleep.Usually I ignore posts that expect me to waste time watching a video: can't these people write? This time I succumbed, just for long enough to see it was made by Tommy Robinson. Enough!

My Company Commander never asked us what we were nor really cared. Now, come Sundays though, it was pretty much the choice between go to services or stay and clean the barracks. While there were some who stayed behind some of us "non-believers" would kind of run together and be a different religion every week. The church on base was huge and had, like, 5 different chapels for services of different denominations and religions in them. We'd just pick on to go to, though, I think, we tended to prefer the Catholic services for some reason.Funny story.
