I am a Hindu. But Hinduism has many denominations. I was a vacillating theist as one time. Now, I follow non-duality (Advaita) and am a strong atheist.

I put out one of these polls a few years ago and thought it would be interesting to see if and how the demographics around here may have changed.

So, which religion do you follow? I'd love to know if there is a particular denomination or church or sect or other specific version of the religion you belong to as well. Were you raised in that faith? Did you convert at some point? Or deconvert perhaps?

Thanks for your input!

I'm a Christian. I was raised in Baptist and non-denominational churches. I have been to churches that practice speaking in tongues. I used to practice speaking in tongues for some years but I have stopped a number of years ago.

I'm a Hindu of the Shakta variety.

I was raised Southern Baptist, but it didn't take. I officially started calling myself a Hindu maybe 8 years ago, after dancing around it for years.

"didn't take"

I use that phrase for myself and Christianity, too...
