Islam will be the answer to neither of the questions.

If you follow teachings & instructions of God through His Prophets Abraham,Moses,Jesus & Muhammed you will be Muslim automatically as Muslims respect & obey the three pillars of the Abraham faith as all the Prophets of God did.( Monotheism / Pray by falling face to the earth / Circumcision ).

First you claim that anyone who submit's to a God is a Muslim .. so Adam was a Muslim .. (which of course makes no sense because there is no evidence in the Bible that Adam submitted to God and his taking the Apple is contrary to submission).

Now you are claiming that to be a Muslim one must respect/obey the three Pillars of the Abraham faith.

How on earth would it be possible for Adam to have done this ?
