Which RFer would YOU like to meet???

Well of course, you would like to meet them all.

But isn't there one, two or maybe three that you would really like to shake hands with? You know, look them in the eye and size them up in person? Maybe buy them a beer, or give them a hug, or even a kiss?

Who are they and most importantly... WHY?

Here are my three (though I would like to meet more)

TVOR... the curmudgeon's curmudgeon. Of all the people on here, he and I share the same distorted outlook and sadly, the same bad humor.

SOGFPP... one of the kindest people here. I would love to worship with him... once in his church and once in mine, so we could really understand each other that much better.

Deut32:8... Does he sound like Groucho? I hope I meet him one day, to test his sharp wit mano e mano!

Choosing just three...that's tough. I can omit Angellous_evangellous. We know each other very, very well, and so, I don't need to meet him, just see him again .

I guess for my top three:

SOGFPP, NetDoc, Lilithu, Deut. 32.8, TVOR, SK2005, Feathersin Hair, Druidus, SoulTYPE, Spinks, and many more.

And before anyone asks...no I cannot count :biglaugh:.

*giggles* I'm assuming one of the options we wouldn't be able to choose would be "to growl at someone". (Though this applies only to select people... Wait, maybe that nullifies the point, if we don't consider them a 'true' RFer?)

Everyone, I'd say! I'd love to do my happy dance with most of the forum, then do my 'happy heathen/ pagan' dance with Jensa, FBI, Circle One, and those others who've joined me in it in the past! I'd want to hug everyone in person for all the virtual hugs I've given them. I'd want to thank them for the hours of intelligent conversations, thought- provoking threads, discussions and arguments, and for laugh-out- loud silliness!

I almost feel bad listing people that I'd love to meet, because I seem to invariably leave off many who've managed to escape my mind in the first posting. I'll live with it by promising that, if someone gets missed, I'll post why I'd like to meet 'em later!

NetDoc and TVOR- how could you pass by a chance to meet these two? Especially if you could meet them together, because you know that the fun would just multiply.

Bastet and Maize- Whoo-hoo! Our two resident Goddesses!

SK2005- just joined and I'm liking them already!

Deut- I don't even hope to test his sharp wit, lest I get cut, but he seems like a brilliantly insightful individual. I, like ND, would love to see the person behind the poster! I'd try for a hug, but I might just get 'a look', hehee!

Scott/ SOGFPP- he's taught me much about his religion and about others', and in doing so, has taught me about my own. It's very rare for a person to be able to do that and never sound condescending, but he manages it every day he's here.

SoulType01- Huge hug for him!

No*s- He shares my love of comics, and of the ancient world. (I won't pretend to know as much as he does, though!)

Lilithu- Always making me think, with the brain and the electrons!

And Kiwimic (Oh, no, I think I've misspelled their name!) and Standing on One Foot, for being fellow Terry Pratchett fans.

Wait, Michel, too, of course! More hugs for him and the wonderful Cadderos!

Pah and I would trade suspicious looks across the room. He has caught on to me being a trouble-maker at heart. No one else must know this. (Hopefully, it doesn't get out!) No, I couldn't do that! Huge hugs for him.

Maybe it's just better if we go down the user list and state the people we don't want to meet?

lol that is exactly how I feel! Well okay maybe there are one or two people who may be left out but I'm sure they are perfectly nice people in real life .

I must say that most folks I have met here are very nice, and our misunderstandings could be cleared up if we were talking in person. I would love to meet anyone and discuss our topics.

NetDoc - having befriended me the middle of 2004, I have grown to admire your heart as a Christian, and on many occassions you have been a belssing and a help to me!

Rex_Admin - having also befriended me and taken to to help with some vB related things, I grew to appreciate your kindness and willingness to help. We also (as do NetDoc and I) have similar interests and I have enjoyed the time we have spent chatting through Yahoo IM!

Justyce just recently turned six in December.

And yeah, lol, since Justyce is the only boy in my group of friends with kids, he's constantly surrounded by little adoring females with their mothers going "aww, so when's the wedding? haha"

He's apparently the little pimp of the playground in his school. Upon meeting a new girl at school, he doesn't come home and say "mommy, I just met a new friend", instead he comes home and says "Mommy, I just met a new girlfriend!" ROFL!
