This Garden of Eden sounds pretty boring. Got to hand it to Adam though, standing up to God. Had to have some cojones on him, right. It's not everyday you get to stand up to a God.

Adam be like "God, dude... It was just a bite of fruit. Chill out and ease up on my lady friend here."

Adam got to learn gardening, crafting. He got kids to raise. I know a lot of gamers who love that kind of stuff. They pay lots of money for games that let them do just that.

The Garden of Eden might be nice to visit, but stuck there for all eternity? Not for me. If I ever happen across this Adam fellow, I'd like to give him a high-five.

Then you will never know. Jesus taught---Matt 7:21 Only those living now to do his Fathers will, get to enter his kingdom.
Adam lived over 900 years. The tree of life has been locked away from this system of things. It will be in Gods kingdom.

God asked not to do one single thing for that so that they weren't robots, they could use their free will to choose to listen to Gods advice. God was correct. The Lie caused Eve to rebel.

Happiness is a fleeting, temporary state of mind. Often we don't know why or what makes us happy. And just because we're happy doesn't mean we are in a good place, where we should be, or going to be satisfied.

I find the world entailing direct reality is better even if it might not feel that way given the allusions the fantastical brings to a person's mind and imagination.

You seem to be using methods of discernment born of this world to describe a preffered existence where that method of discernment doesn't exist. This is why one must let go of these preconceptions.

So I get to be brain zapped in order to have the same emotions and leveled out capabilities (at a significant cost of my own) at logic and abstract thought, all so I can join some club with a being who calls himself god who wants to call that "eternal paradise?" The only way to undue such a discernment is to reject the gifts that were given to us, those characteristics that make us "us." To a crocodile eating a gazelle, it really is the natural order of things that reign supreme. But because we known pain and suffering, and the ability to have abstract logical thought and an awesome evolutionary draw of the card, that we have beaten many of our tiniest and deadliest foes. Life isn't just happiness and bliss. It's also agony and grief.
Essentially, your god wants to change us all into something else, which means "you" as you know yourself won't be their either. Tough love and learning the hard way, they won't be a part of "you" anymore.
