White magick and Abrahamic religions

What do the abrahamic religions (judaism, christianity, islam, bahai) believe about white magick? Is white magick ok?

I think it depends on the definition of "magick" and the belief in its source.

For instance, the Eucharist isn't usually considered magick by the Catholic Church, but it's really not different from other magical rituals.

Divination is usually considered evil, but prophesies from angels, saints, or God are perfectly ok (if it fits the dogmatic framework approved by religious authorities).

Healing magick appears okay if its from an approved religious source like a nun, Mary statue or Priest, etc. If it's a healing ritual from a non-abrahamic source, not okay.

Magic, not the slight-of-hand tricks, is condemned in the Bible in no uncertain terms. The dead are not alive, they are in the grave (sheol or hades some versions like the King James translates Grave as hell). All forms of spiritsm is in the purview of Satan the Devil:

"There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, anyone practicing magic, anyone who looks for omens, a sorcerer, anyone binding others with a spell, anyone who consults a spirit medium or a fortune-teller, or anyone who inquires of the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable practices Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you. You should prove yourself blameless before Jehovah your God."-Deuteronomy 18:10-13.

In the book of Revelation we are told that no one practicing spiritsm will gain everlasting life:

"Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and those who are sexually immoral and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices lying."-Revelation 22:15.

It is true that forms of spiritism are a part of almost all religions on earth. In fact in Revelation we are told that the worldwide empire of false religion, symbolized by a prostitute that commits sexual immorality with the governments of the earth, has mislead the entire inhabited earth with her spiritistic practices:

"And by your spiritistic practices all the nations were misled."-Revelation 18:23.

Well that can be broad definition; different people might consider different things to be "white magick".

In general though; I say it's not allowed and if we believe in Jesus Christ we don't need it anyway. Because we have access to the throne of God for grace and help. We have access to the most High God so he's all we need. Magic is completely superseded.

I would rather have a heal spell up my sleeve than depend on the cleric who is always oom and afk.

There are abrahamic witches such as christian witches and jewish witches. I dont know about Muslim witches or baha'i witches if they exist. I cannot and will not argue if those are valid paths as I personally don't care folk can follow whatever path they choose, but they are out there. How they justify their path to other Jews and Christians I cannot say as im not a Jewish or christian witch or an abrahamic of any kind and do not know exactly nor care how they justify their path. Im just saying they exist and are out there.

Also Trintarian Wicca aka christian Wicca which is neither Christianity nor Wicca but a mix of a two taking from both and a unique path of its own separate from the two is a thing.

I still find inspiration in Christian mythology, reading it from a metaphorical and mystical perspective. So, many of my rituals, which can have a "magical" element in that they are performed to inspire change (mostly within), can have Christian symbolism in them.

There is no belief in white magic in Baha'i. However, we have a wiccan woman that looks over Michael, and she takes good care of him. I have nothing against those who believe such things.
