They would still not be a minority They would be a plurality since they would still be the group with the highest percentage of people in it.

I guess it is time to open the flood gates to Immigrants from Europe. Hello??? Hello??? Anyone??

The 'funnest' part of race statistics is to look back at the historical ones. Apparently in 1610, the US was 100% white. I suppose they were only counting humans...ahem...

In any case, race is kinda 'who cares'. I wish there would be more discussion about social economics in relation to US politics, and less about race. The recent Harvard admissions cases, for example, were pretty horrendous.

Ie below 50% overall

LOL! Someone send that writer a thesaurus.!! Okay, technically the term usually does apply to just voting. But it still seems to be more reasonable than the oxymoronic "majority minority". In voting a plurality occurs when there are more than two candidates and the top vote getter still got less than half.
