Who are the Best Non-Mod Non-Clique members here?

Like I said, I've been here for 8 years (that's like forever in forum years). Yes, during that time I've tried to diffuse some volatile situations and obviously it's been noticed. Also, as I said, I've seen many friends come and go, so whether I've been part of the "clique" has largely depended on who has been here and when. Whether or not I'm considered as such right now, I really haven't the foggiest to be honest, nor is it that important to me.

I do have to say that I've observed a trend of many awesome members becoming staff, so it doesn't surprise me that a lot of the people mentioned in "Who is your favorite [...]?" lists are staffers.

But... but... how do you define clique? I mean we two almost form a clique on our own. And then there's the chat clique and the science clique and the always-there-to-correct-facts-clique and you name it. Speaking of which, I can't nominate anyone since the most awesome people are all mods - or become so soon after I take a liking to them.

Rather than 'smaller', I prefer to think of it as "more selective."

But this leads to another question: how can we get a definitive clique list, preferably one with rankings? I really need to know if I'm in or out.
