alright, just to start this off....
my views as an ahmadi muslim (alislam.org) are that the antichrist, also known as the dadjjal to muslims, signified not a person, but a specific time, with the descriptions of the antichrist as metaphorical. For example, the one left-eyed cyclops riding on top of the huge donkey, with his head above the clouds, signifies the western world, which would be devoid of spiritual guidance (a right eye) but would abound in scientific knowledge (left eye). Anyways, the prophecy goes on to state that then Jesus will descend from heaven, kill the antichrist, break the cross, etc. I believe all these to be metaphorical signs, but would like to hear what other people think. Also interested in what specifically christians think Christ will do once he comes back.

Well there is no one anti-christ persay. Biblically an anti-christ is anyone who denies Jesus...

Well, as a muslim, i have taken my account of the antichrist from different prophecies of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
He said that when all the above mentioned were to be fulfilled, jesus would return, he would break the cross, kill swine, etc, and would then be followed by the Imam Mahdi, a promised reformer.
He's an interesting twist. I believe that the antichrist has already come, according to the Ahadith (sayings of prophet Muhammad).
The donkey the antichrist rides, which is taller then the clouds and can travel over water, land and air at incredible speeds, and also eats or spits fire (can't recall) and leaves smoke wherever it goes, symbolize the modern combustion based vehicles that man uses to travel, (cars, airplanes, boats, etc.)?
Theres others too...ill try to look them up.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on the matter?
