A computer is a tool, more advanced than a screwdriver, but just a tool. Concepts of God go beyond "tools" which God does not need because His will can do whatever He pleases. This is why we call Him God, He needs nothing and lacks nothing and creates anything He decides. If you choose to believe that we are in a computer simulation it makes no difference, because there is no simulation in the concept of God, it's all reality. If you want to view the physical universe as a simulation, that's just a way of viewing it but has no bearing - all is God's creation. Also, a simulation is just an arbitrary description and arbitrary descriptions are not respectful of God IMHO. One could say, we're all just characters in a movie, or we're all in someone's dream, these are other arbitrary descriptions from a lower human perspective. God transcends human concepts like screwdrivers, abacus machines, computers, movies, etc....
My suggestion is reboot your simulation into higher-level concepts.
