Who gave Jesus all authority in Heaven and Earth?

Let's look at your comment, you said,

"Notice right after that he says besides me there is no God", but what does it "Really" say?

Isaiah 44:6 (ESV Strong's) “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.

Do you see the difference? When you read that verse you see "G"od, but it actually says "g"od, "there is no "g"od besides Me.

Since there is no "g"od besides "G"od, then Jesus can't be a "g"od, like witnesses claim, which I just noticed you claim you are. Which explains your response to my post,

I don't claim anything another man claims unless it comes from the word of Jehovah God. Jehovah God guides me through holy spirit and he confirms whether the things men say about his word are true or not i follow no man, I follow Jehovah God. The scripture in question the G is capitalized. In both my New world Translation and my King James. Read scripture Isaiah 9 : 6) For a child has been born to us, A son has been given to us; And the rulership will rest on his shoulder. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. This is a prophesy about Jesus. Explaining the different names he would be called. Not saying that he would be a God at all only that people will call him such and the prophesy just like every other one came true.

Actually, by your calling yourself a "Jehovah's Witness" you probably do claim something that another person told you. The work of the Jehovah's Witnesses is to find all the people who will believe that God has chosen the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses, and only them, to tell you what to believe in about what the Bible really teaches. Is this not true?

Ok, let's look at it from your perspective,

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

The KJV says, "THE mighty God", not 'A' mighty God, not just "mighty God" as you have quoted, but, "THE" mighty God.

And, since Isaiah 44:6 says, "besides me there is "NO" God". Why would God want to deceive people into calling Jesus, "THE" mighty "GOD"? And it is worse, telling people His name will be called, "THE" mighty "GOD" when He wasn't even a God at all. God says, "He's not going to be a God cuz I'm the only God, but I'll have people call Him, "THE" mighty "GOD" just for laughs and giggles".

Isaiah 44:6 (KJV) 6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Read my statements carefully it's not deceiving it's a prophesy. A prophesy states things that will happen at a future date. And like the prophecy says people do call him all the names that are given in said scripture.

Your right to say that. My eyes were opened and Jehovah literally took over, had me read the Bible three times in about 7 months, and now he truly shows me whats right and wrong through holy spirit. There's a lot of things I see with the witnesses that I won't speak on at this moment because i'm gonna do what i'm suppose to do and let things run it's course and Jehovah God fix them because like it says in Ecclesiastes 3 : 1) There is an appointed time for everything, A time for every activity under the heavens.

Besides nothing is perfect they have it together more than anyone else. It's up to the individual to go after the true God Jehovah by incessantly praying to Jehovah in the name of Jesus asking for an abundance of holy spirit and hunger for his word and believing that it will come and you will definitely be filled.

I don't claim anything ........ unless it comes from the word of Jehovah God.
Is it from Jehovah that they "have it together more than anyone else"?

I think that it may be reasonable that you believe they "have it together", but I know they do not tell the truth about knowing what the Bible really teaches but that they call themselves "The Truth".
Jesus is the truth. John 14:6 Agree @Blessed of JEHOVAH?
It can be understood that by calling themselves The Truth they are in fact calling themselves The Christ. I do not think they are doing it on purpose. Only Jehovah knows.

Wait, are you claiming it is prophecy about something good, or something bad?

And as our days come to a close, you don't think the time is Now?

Are you a member of the anointed class, the 144,000?

Some say Jesus is God. It is written that Jesus received all authority in Heaven and on Earth.

WHO gave it to him?

This question has a relatively simplistic answer many Sunday school kids would be able to supply.

God is one being composed of three persons. The father being one person gave all authority to another person Jesus Christ, known as the son.

I do not see any inconsistency or need to look any further than this. Do you see any potential problem with the above?

I do. If the son is just 1/3 of God who is everlasting and so is everlastingly GOD, then it was God who was born, lived and died and not a human man. I believe the Jesus of the Bible is human.

That is unbiblical. For some reason I think your considering the Bible's world view as the context for your questions and statements, but maybe that assumption is incorrect. In the bible Jesus is not 1/3rd of anything. That is to attempt to evaluate the Trinity by using arithmetic. Jesus is fully God, the Father is fully God, the Holy Spirit is fully God. They are three divine entities with independent wills and rolls but with perfectly harmonious teachings. Your confusing essence with position or maybe roll.

However that issue is not as interesting or important as the discussion as to what Jesus' nature really was. If you want to discuss the latter more important issue I will let you make the opening post or argument that Jesus is not divine. However it will be tomorrow before I can reply as I am leaving in a minute.

Blessed of JEHOVAH

The way you quoted me does not show any argument on your part. perhaps go back and try quoting me again. You have to hit reply instead of quote. I will check tomorrow to see if you reposted or if you wish me to tell you how to quote posts from others.
