Who here dances in their own home?

Go on don't be shy. :flirt:

I do it all the time when nobody's looking. Ever since I was a kid, my passion came from many classes including tap dancing and ballere. Even when I did mess up, it was my own comfort in knowing that at least my sisters and myself enjoyed it, not the audience. My audience are usually my sisters and the cats. If I had much money, I'd teach it.

This I think among many other factors is why I enjoy being alone. Everytime I see a beautiful musical or song I love or enjoy, I have to dance. :rainbow1:

Who's with me?

See that's my attitude as well. It isn't so much the dancing but the music, it is something like an outlet for me, to express it all in a form of dancing or playing.

I think if there is a renaissance, it should come in the form of music.

*raises hand!* I do, I do!

I dance at my office too. People can see me out the huge picture window but I don't care. I'm waiting for someone who's watching to join in the fun. :p

Definitely! I often practice what I've learned in class though. I LOVE music on while doing house work or cooking.

Can't brain. Has dumb.
I dance, and sing at home by myself, at home with people around, on my way to town, in town, at the supermarket, at work...

My sister has been heard to say I'm too embarrassing to be in town with, but I think she's the crazy one. With so much music in your head, how can you not sing and dance along to it?!

Dancing is for fools.

That's why I do it in my home, in the car (where I sing and wiggle as much as I can while waving at other drivers), in the studio where I teach and when I'm not teaching, on stage, and for money.

"Dance as if no one were watching." - I have that on a plaque in our living room, and I guess the whole family does it from time to time, but I can't say for sure because I'm having too much fun dancing myself.

Violet.
I'm sorry you're so sad. :hugehug:

Can you at least wiggle? I do that when I'm constrained by pain, illness, or space. ;)

Well I try not to be sad in general sweetheart.;)
I do have a few things that I cling to in spite of all my aches and pains.
I have a few things in my life, to be very happy about as well.:rainbow1:

Still though it does make me sad that I can no longer dance,
exercise, even go for long walks on a regular basis.
Some days I even have difficulties playing keyboards/piano.
But not so often that it's putting an end to my career possibilities.

Perhaps if I no longer had to work nights it would help.
(and actually had a bedroom... and a bed... )
But that is no option for me now.

PS.... I'll try to remember to wiggle more.

One can always dance in the space of their inner room as well....

Awww I hope the pain isn't so bad my fairy muse.

Love the way you write, you could be the inspirations for the very songs we are dancing to. :candle:
