Wow. They're actually trying to compare present day liberals and progressives to 1800's democratic party and Nazi Germany?
The biggest threat to freedom are the very imbeciles who make and watch garbage like this, because they elect people who undermine the very values that this nation was founded upon; which is rights, liberty, equality, and justice for all citizens. When has Trump or the GOP ever represented these things?

Truth hurts doesn't it, Liberals are Democrats, who are against freedom of speech. Against how a person votes.
Maxine Waters telling people to attack those who are Republicans.

The skeleton of America is still there. Perhaps we are living off of the ghosts of america though inside are borders.
Individual freedom, individual rights, moral freedom, who is the divine judge? No human has the right to impede the rights of others so long as they do no harm to others.
What kind of moral rights does d'souza want to defend? What kind of rights does he want to rule out?
Im a values voter. And i desperately want to vote, but i see no representation of my values in american politics.
All i desire to do is gridlock the government and pray for a new representation to emerge. Let the individuals sort out for themselves how they want to conduct their lives individually.
If we all keep trying to set up major powers of rule over us, those powers will eventually corrupt themselves.
I am not in favor of a Theocracy, nor a liberal, nor a conservative rule.
I am in favor of the individual living as they see fit to live individually so long as they do no harm.
I am pro life, pro equality of rights for homosexuals as heterosexuals, pro environmental protection, pro social security for the helpless and retirees, lawful immigration, equality of race, freedom of speech, and finally government is for to protect the people against improper economic rule, domestic and foreign enemy protection, police protection, and social infrastructure.

It's exactly why I am not no longer a Liberal democrat, after 45 years, I came to my common sense about liberal democrats.
Liberal democrats do not stand for what liberal democrats used to stand for.
Liberal democrats of to day, wants to give hand outs.
But Liberal democrat President JFK of 1961 had this to say ( Ask not what your country can do for you, But ask what you can do for your Country)

Don't be dishonest (isn't that a "sin"?) Who do you think racists, white nationalists, etc. typically vote for? I don't know of any liberals (perhaps maybe a small handful of kooky, fringe SJWs who are irrelevant and represent nothing but themselves) who would support a repeal of the 1st amendment. Also, Maxine Waters is a cretin who made a cretinous statement. People within her own party even called her out on it. Btw, have you ever heard of "Godwin's Law"?

It's just a distraction. To me, when I rarely paid it any attention, when my dad was watching it on T.V., it's like watching the World Wrestling Federation my little brothers used to watch. I don't watch much T.V. anymore.

You're referring to a tiny subset of the left which is not representative of the whole. A small subset of the right is also racist and violent against minorities. Both sides have extreme fringes, but it would be dishonest to say that either the Left or the Right as a whole is a "threat to freedom."

I wasn't talking about the movie, I didn't even look at the video. I was talking about American party politics. Democrat, Republican, etc.
Where do you get that from? Democrats are the ones fighting for freedom of press and voting rights while Trump and the GOP work to undermine those things. You want Nazi germany and Hitler take a closer look at Trump.
By very definition liberals are not against freedom and if they are they need to seek a dictionary.

Judging from the trailer, I'm not sure if I'd be interested in watching this movie. As for who the real threat to freedom actually is, that's hard to say. I do think a lot of the screaming and outrage over Trump is rather overblown and a bit of a put on, especially from those who compare him to Hitler. It would be equally disingenuous for someone to make a pro-Republican film and say that the Democrats are Hitler.
