What's skald mean ?
I've come across a few bad people in my time, but a guy called Mike was defined the worst. He was ok to start until his true personality came out, a gang leader who carried weapons, a hard drug dealer, violent and a rapist.
In my experience, it's behaviors, not people, that are bad.
A number of decades ago a small number of us participating in a civil rights demonstration were attacked by members of the American Nazi Party. Fortunately no one was seriously hurt.

Family members
The man who married my mother shortly after I was born. Vicious, cruel drunk who almost killed me twice before I was 7 years old. Very cruel to my mother, who had 3 children by him, all ending up in the Children's Aid, and only one of whom ever returned to my mother's care. His first name was the same as mine, as a consequence of which I never, ever use my first name -- going by my middle name only.

My stepfather. He left my mom one day and took everything they had, left her destitute. He was a monumental POS.
An old woman who seemed to have no conscience and no ability to feel feelings other than very juvenile ones. She seemed to genuinely enjoy causing people pain.

I've met other vile, hateful, and abusive people in my life, but I've never met anyone else who comes close to being as vile, hateful, and abusive as her.
The one that almost caused me to kill myself when I was in college... by a landslide.
