1. Who made the Sabbath?
The rest day is one of the greatest gifts of God to man. Most Christians agree that the Sabbath is part essential of worship. Much is involved in training on Saturday.
1. Who really set on Saturday?
Although it sounds strange to some Christians, who made the Sabbath was Christ himself, for John 1:1-3, 10 and 14 says that Jesus made all things.
2. When did the Sabbath?
In the week of creation, as we read in Genesis 2:1-3 and Exodus 20:8-11.
3. How was it done on Saturday?
"They were finished the heavens and the earth, and all the host. God had finished the seventh day his work he did, and rested the seventh day from all his work he had done. And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it: because in it He rested from all His work which God created and made. "Genesis 2:1-3.
4. What else was done on Saturday?
God made the Sabbath a day of the week. The day He sanctified the seventh was called Saturday. Read Genesis 2:2,3.
5. When began and ended the days of creation?
Reading Genesis 1:5,8 and 13, etc.., We see that each day of creation began at sunset with the part called dark night, and ended the following sunset. Therefore, the Sabbath is observed from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday.
6. Who was established on Saturday?
Jesus said: "On Saturday because the man is made, not man for cause on Saturday. " Mark 2:27.
7. So who is the Lord of the Sabbath?
"The Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath." Mark 2:28.
8. "How long wanted God to keep the Sabbath?
The Sabbath will be kept throughout the vast eternity, as we read in Isaiah 66:22,23.
Conclusion
The Sabbath was established by the Lord Jesus in the same building. He was to be saved through all time, and observed a set of sun to the other.
In Leviticus 23:32, to mention one of the ceremonial Sabbaths, the Day of Atonement, explains: "From evening to evening holgaréis your Sabbath."
