It was an entertaining though rather graphic movie that may have depicted some scenes well, but if I recall, it kind of just left me with more questions about the Bible and whether depictions were accurate or not - for better or for worse.

The passion of the Christ was a great movie. I find that the story behind the actor who played Jesus fascinating. He had suffered a lot, said he could have died

Didn't care for it much. There are already brilliant films depicting Jesus. I didn't see it as necessary and not as accurate as many others claim. I can't believe people let their children see it. It ranks up there pretty high on the horror/gore genres.

It's a very beautiful film of you view it the way it's meant to be viewed. It's basically a Catholic devotional movie (it's partially based on the mystical visions of a Catholic nun as well traditional Passion plays), and should be viewed primarily as a religious film. The acting, cinematography, etc. was all excellent. You had Monica Bellucci playing Mary Magdalene, what more could you ask for? :D

Maybe that's my problem with the movie. :p

thanks for that

i’m not too keen on R and really don’t like sex and violence in movies

the last movie I watched was Best of Enemies

it fit the bill perfectly for me

It's a bit of a religious-themed horror movie. Even if it does have some good messages. I was able to watch it at age 14. But the gruesome images stayed in my mind a few days (didn't cause me problems, but took awhile to get it out of my head - not a huge deal but yeah).
