Who was Namrood ???

Salam All,

I want to Know the reality of Namrood, who was he and what was his Era ???

As, I am Muslim, in my religion we are told that he was the King who claimed Divinity and forced people to accept him as god, and he was the one who was against Hazrat Ibrahim (Abraham) (A.S).

Please, share your opinions, Jews, Christians and other Abrahamic Religion followers are required to give their inputs, but if in any other Religion there was some Connection of this Namrood or any other person with the same name, please share it.
