God ... he understands how all this works and fits together ... something that everyone else seems to struggle with. :)

Ok, but how about greatest human mind?
Sure, I'll play.
Henry DeWeerd ... Advanced degrees in Business, Mathamatics and Theology and he can answer any theological question by starting with the phrase ...

"Let me tell you about my grandkids" ...

The greatest human mind of all time could be measured in so many different ways -- according to IQ, academic or other achievements, wisdom, etc. It would be a subjective rating according to who's giving it and why.

I'd say the greatest human mind of all time is Saint Mary because she is God's most perfect creature and the one human most fully united with Jesus and with the Trinity.

I was hoping more people would answer. I was just wondering what others would say. I say Jesus is the greatest human mind. I would imagine that Jesus would have answered that Moses was the greatest human mind.

Jesus has to be taken separately from the rest of humanity, if you believe in his divinity.

That being said...

President Kennedy hosted Nobel Prize winners at the White House in 1962. He had this to say:

I want to tell you how welcome you are to the White House. I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered together at the White House, with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.

Someone once said that Thomas Jefferson was a gentleman of 32 who could calculate an eclipse, survey an estate, tie an artery, plan an edifice, try a cause, break a horse, and dance the minuet. Whatever he may have lacked, if he could have had his former colleague, Mr. Franklin, here we all would have been impressed.

This is an impossible question to answer. There are so many intelligent people out there who I've never known. This is the best I can do.

Mine, by default. How can I be certain that the rest of you aren't just figments of my imagination? :D

2. Solomon
3. Paul
4. Anyone who loves the Bible, as God's Word makes us "wiser than all our teachers" (Psalm 119). ;)

^I don't think we need to arrive at a definite consensus. It should be interesting enough to see how people answer.
