Why are we all so diffirent if God wants us all to be the same?

:) It seems to me that if God did want us all to be the same , then He would have made us so .

We are born... we live our lives on the same planet, breathe the same air.... and will all die.

We're not all so different...

:biglaugh: Sounds like something I would usually say . Hmmm , must spread Krama ....

No , we aren't all that different . But the things we do between being born , and dieing can make a difference . :)

Ahhh..... but make a difference to whom?;)
Anything and everything ...

I know what you are refering to here . :) And I agree on one level .

I can't answer this without hetting off topic , so perhaps you will move this reply to another thread ? But will Judas ever walk in Heaven ? I think not . Not because he wouldn't be , oe couldn't be forgiven , but because he would not , could not forgive hisself . Does that make sense ?

We are all one species, and to prove it we can all interbreed.
We were all given free will by God. so we go our different ways but we remain Gods Children and he love us equally.

I was trying to be philosophical.... hehe... what I really meant was that difference is a matter of perspective.... I have a rather myopic view of humanity... I try (usually in vain) to look past the obvious and see people as people.... in that "light", we don't seem that different, and I think peace towards our fellow man would be easier for society if all of our "differences" were seen as only an afterthought to what makes us similar.

.... but I did like where you were going!;)
Does that make sense ?
I'll be brief, so we'll let it stay here.... but yes, it does very much. If you have follow up comments, please send me a PM.

I do not remember ever being told that God wants us all to be the same. The function of life depends on diversity. And the material world is a mirror for the spiritual world.

I have different cells in my body. Skin cells, heart cells, blood cells, liver, hair, and bone. All different cells, with different purposes, and different rules and requirements. My body has some cells that help heal the body and others that distroy foriegn invaders. My body would not survive if all my cells decided that one was more important than all the rest and 'converted' to one type of cell. We all are the body of Christ.
