We as humans can't explain life yet. Thats why lots of people create an answer (god) based on no proof for this baffling question. But I think if you try to look deeper in to science you will start to realize that most likely god doesn't exist. At least the type of God that Christians think exists.
How does the Bible explain dinasours? Why is it that we haved proved the Earth is much older than the Bible says. Most would say God put that stuff there to test our faith??!? That is the most ridiculous answer I have ever heard. God is not here to trick us, and mess with our minds. I think the message religion conveys is excellent, but at the same time it cause so much corruption and misguidance. Look with in yourself and within others for the answers you seek. God is you. You are God. And in the years to come, im sure we will still see no sign of God.
One last circular question:
If God created us, then who created God? If your answer is God has always existed, isn't it simpler to say the Cosmos has always existed?

The earth's age? You have proved absolutely nothing. You have postulated much, but a theory falls far short of proof. At the same time, we don't know exactly how long each creative period or "day" was (the Hebrew denotes an indefinite period of time), so the Bible does not give us a time, and you give us no proof, so the whole question is moot. Next.
