Why did I make bold comments in the past?

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
Have you ever thought of why you say things the way you do? Was it to uplift your self or down play others? What impact does your words has on others or your self?

2020 has been the year of change for me, some good, some less good. But all this changes, all this back and forth made me think of " how do i see my own actions, words or thoughts from this year" and it has been a year where i learned that the person i was January 1st 2020 is not the guy i want to identify as now. That has actually been a theme all through my life, i dont want to identify with whom i used to be.

Right now, this moment i see my self as free because the identity someone put on me when i was born is finally letting go of who this person called Amanaki is, that others told how to be.

Dont let society tell you who you are, tell the society who you are.

I am so happy for you.
Freedom is the most valuable thing we have.
Thank you @Estro Felino yes finally realizing that we are in charge of our own life, our own decisions and even if we should do something that end up as something we did not think of, its ok because we learn every step of the way.

Freedom to say, no i dont want to do that just because you tell me to, that is the moment you take responsability for our own life. :)

It's been nice watching you grow as a human-being and finding your "real you" here on RF :D

Whatever will Amanaki do next???

This is just my two cents, but personally, I think the better way to go is to just stop paying attention to the whole "who am I" question all together. And relax. Forget about all that self-evaluation and judgment. Do what you need to do to take care of yourself. And do what you can to help others. And then let God sort it all out. There's no need for all this questioning and self-judgment. None of that is your job. Nor is it your place. Or your responsibility. You just be you, honestly, and fully, and then let your Creator figure it all out and take the heat for it. :)

Thank you for the reply @PureX :) i understand we see life a bit different :) yes my creator was the one making my existence possible :) but i believe i am the one who have to clean up after my self when i make a poop out of my life :) not sure God would want to do that for me, if i dont clean up my self, how am i going to learn from my mistake

Do me a favor --- Pray to God for me as well as I am your brother. You may be concerned about things you said, I am being eaten inside out because of horrible things I did. I cannot live or die because of what I've done, and the state I am in. I just want God to undo my sins, and forgive me.

I like to hear when folks realize there is no need to be tied to their past selves. This idea of karma is more of a mindset than fact, IMO.

"Cleaning up" IS learning from our mistakes. The 'mess" is our recognition of mistakes made. And the "cleaning up" is our putting them back aright.

But I'm talking about what made them "mistakes" in the first place. And that was by our not doing and being our authentic selves. And instead, trying to be what we were told by others we're supposed to be, or what we decided ourselves that we're supposed to be. And the truth is no one really knows who or what we're supposed to be, because THEY DIDN'T CREATE US.

So, the only way to become who we were created to be when we can't know what that is, is to just be ourselves; honestly, and sincerely, and spontaneously, within the existential context that we find ourselves in. Stop trying to control it, and judge it, and "make it happen". And relax, and just let it happen.

Be a taoist. Embody the tao.

I will do a personal prayer for you. But if you want God to help you to forgive what you may have done in the past, you can still ask God for guidance.
I can not say you can do it the way i do today, but first step to the peace from within that i feel today, comes from accepting that my sins was in the past, and i do my best to not repeat those things today.

Self healing start from within.

I agree that the way you describe is one solution yes :) the problem i faced was, not knowing who i was at all, i was so used to following what others told me to be "correct" that i lost my identity until i realized that identity does not exist, you only create an image of who you think you are.

"When people see some things as beautiful,
other things become ugly.
When people see some things as good,
other things become bad.

Being and non-being create each other.
Difficult and easy support each other.
Long and short define each other.
High and low depend on each other.
Before and after follow each other.

Therefore, the Master
acts without doing anything
and teaches without saying anything.
Things arise and she lets them come;
things disappear and she lets them go.
She has but doesn't possess,
acts but doesn't expect.
When her work is done, she forgets it.
That is why it lasts forever." - from the Tao Te Ching

The only 'mistake' is to not be what you are.

And it obscures the view.

"In pursuit of knowledge,
every day something is added.
In the practice of the Tao,
every day something is dropped.

Less and less do you need to force things,
until finally you arrive at non-action.
When nothing is done,
nothing is left undone."

Thereby the identity sease to exist.

Watch a 17 year-old show us all how to just be what we are ... without knowing it, or thinking about it, or fussing over the 'righteousness' of it ...

I have seen it before :)

Maybe the Tao way is not the path all humans take, maybe some people chose to look at what was, and what is right now to understand more about the being they living as. A choice because that is what set them free. They choose to search or they choose to just live without any concern about past or future.

Society can often try to lead someone, but others say, no to be led :)

"There was something formless and perfect
before the universe was born.
It is serene. Empty.
Solitary. Unchanging.
Infinite. Eternally present.
It is the mother of the universe.
For lack of a better name,
I call it the Tao.

It flows through all things,
inside and outside, and returns
to the origin of all things.

The Tao is great.
The universe is great.
Earth is great.
Man is great.
These are the four great powers.

Man follows the earth.
Earth follows the universe.
The universe follows the Tao.
The Tao follows only itself."
It's all the same 'flow of being'. We can relax and go with it, or we can struggle against it by trying to 'own' (control) it.
