Why did Jesus call himself ‘a man’ in John 8:40

Soapy

Son of his Father: The Heir and Prince
u can't READ with understanding either I see. Read the verse carefully. Revelation 3:12 "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

now the answer, "HIS GOD/MY GOD IS HIM IN THE ECHAD".

I just cannot believe people cannot discern a simple scripture like this.... just unbelieble.

soapy, this is a TEST.... 101G says this.... "I will write the name of My Father on a tablet, yes I will write my/101G name on the tablet". ok, soapy who name did I write on the tablet? your answer please.

101G
You wrote the name of your Father… which is not your name!

Punctuation as it's used in its context now, did not exist until after the death of the mythological Christ.

But you do know (don’t you?) that there isn’t even one verse in the scriptures that says ‘God the Father’.

And not even a hint for ‘God the Son’.

And certainly none for ‘God the holy spirit’.

Do not be taken in where you MAY SEE any of the above ‘titles’. Check out the GREEK from which it would have been mistranslated.

Trinitarians will write and speak the above titles with no validity because their audience want to believe what the trinitarian says to them irrespective of what the scripture actually says because the audience needs ‘something’ to believe in even if that ‘something’ is illegitimate!!

in the best English, he aren't, because he's God himself in the ECHAD of Ordinal First, and Ordinal Last. his God is HIM.....

this is how I know U don't know anything ..... when u ask ... "if". that tells it all.

101G.
Are you saying that your Jesus is his own god?

That your Jesus is his own Father?

Why? Catholics are not the only Christians who are trinitarian.
Not the only Christians who continue with the Nicene Creed.
I feel sorry for all peoples who are in error concerning belief in God and His Christ (His anointed Servant):
  • Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.” (Isaiah 42:1)
  • The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,” (Isaiah 61:1)

What does all that mean: ‘Echad of the Father and Son’?
simple, listen up
The ECHAD of God, (who is a single person)..... SHARED himself in flesh and blood, (God own ARM, per Isaiah 63:5), as a man. this means God as the Spirit/Ordinal First as CREATOR and MAKER of ALL THINGS. and as a Man/Ordinal Last, (God "OWN ARM"),, with blood is the REDEEMER, and SAVIOUR of all things that he JESUS/GOD CREATED and MADE... hello?

How did you come up with all this?

101G did not come up with nothing. God taught it to me.

watch my Language. Jesus the Lord, the Son CREATED, and MADE NOTHING.... but Jesus as Father did. see it now? but John 1:3 said "he made all things" yes, but Jesus, who is God, as a man, (the Ordinal Last), in flesh in a G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') states... made and CREATED nothing.

did you see how 101G worded that?

That’s genius…

And you say God taught it you.

Which God was that?

so we can take this as you have nothing constructive to add to the topic discussion? .... thought so.

Ok , the thread topic is ‘Why did Jesus call himself a man?’

Jesus never called himself ‘God’.. only ‘a man’:
  • ‘As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things.’ (John 8:30)
What’s your take on this question?

well let's check the record. John 8:56 "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad." John 8:57 "Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?" John 8:58 "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."

was JESUS before Abraham? yes, ..... (smile)......

John 10:29 "My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." John 10:30 "I and my Father are one." John 10:31 "Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him." John 10:32 "Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?" John 10:33 "The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God."

so did the Lord Jeus LIE? no because the Jews knew exactly what "ONE" meant..... (smile) it's the Greek word,
G1520 εἷς heis (heis') n.
ἕν hen (hen') [including the neuter (etc.)]
one.
[a primary numeral]
KJV: a(-n, -ny, certain), + abundantly, man, one (another), only, other, some
See also: G1527, G3367, G3391, G3762

do you understand what a primary numeral means here when the Lord Jesus said, "I and the Father are, are, are, ONE? Answer, the SAME person, or as the definition can be translated as "ANOTHER", or as the Greek say, G243 Allos.... Oh this is too easy.

and there are many other places just like this in the bible spoken by the Lord Jesus. .... (smile)... :mask: YIKES!

What are you believing. Your claims are inconsistent to the extent of being incomprehensible. How many times does everyone say in a day, ‘I Am’… are there so many almighty Gods in the world. Or is everyone Echad God because ‘they are’?

Are you just tempting responders to sin in this forum more than they sin already?
