I have to assume that the Government had money to waste in the sixties

Is this a competition? Because I think going to the moon is both cooler and more useful than anything the Italian government sponsored in 1969.

I would assume that you know nothing about modern scientific discoveries and the amazing and unbelievably useful scientific discoveries owed to the Apollo program and the geniuses who played a part.

In all honesty, please do some real research with an open mind. Those guys were American Heroes, imho.

All you have to do is a simple Google search for "scientific discoveries of the Apollo missions".

I just consider them heroes, and not just the astronauts. Everyone who worked on the space program, both the Russian and American scientists, made great strides in science, developed profound technology that changed the world, and human society as a whole would have very little of what we have today without those efforts.
As for Hay, he hasn't been on in nearly half a year.
