Here is the Greek word for worship: if you are interested in learning; it would seem hard for people to bow down in front of Jesus and kiss the ground. But the definition also says to do reverence to / Having deep respect for; being thankful towards; kept in close regard is possible to do for believers now days.

4352. proskuneó

Definition: to do reverence to
Usage: I go down on my knees to, do obeisance to, worship.

4352
proskynéō (from 4314 /prós, "towards" and kyneo, "to kiss") – properly, to kiss the ground when prostrating before a superior; to worship, ready "to fall down/prostrate oneself to adore on one's knees" (DNTT); to "do obeisance" (BAGD).

["The basic meaning of 4352 (proskynéō), in the opinion of most scholars, is to kiss. . . . On Egyptian reliefs worshipers are represented with outstretched hand throwing a kiss to (pros-) the deity" (DNTT, 2, 875,876).

4352 (proskyneō) has been (metaphorically) described as "the kissing-ground" between believers (the Bride) and Christ (the heavenly Bridegroom). While this is true, 4352 (proskynéō) suggests the willingness to make all necessary physical gestures of obeisance.]

Except there are other Bible passages that suggest he does accept human glorification.

Maybe the mistake is assuming that the Bible is consistent with itself.

loving someone and idolizing someone aren't the same thing
Indeed. For instance, this would be an example of idolizing someone:

Mark 14:3-9:

While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head. Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, "Why this waste of perfume? It could have been sold for more than a year's wages and the money given to the poor." And they rebuked her harshly. "Leave her alone," said Jesus. "Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."

Why are you quote mining this particular line in a paragraph? The entire paragraph says that you should honor him, the law of Moses and God.

I think he’s humble
Most respect his humility.
But everyone recognizes his uniqueness, him included

Idolatry is the biggest of no, nos. If Jesus was a Jew he wouldn't have allowed it, nor promoted it.

The verse given says it's not wanted.

More expressly revelation 14:7

Think of the Christian liturgy you attend and who it is offered to, the Father, through the Son, in the Spirit. It is God who is worshiped.

I believe that is because He is God in the flesh.

I believe he recognizes the glory of men isn't worth much and this verse bears that out: John 5:44 How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

Christians, do not worship Jesus they give him honour as the Messiah. With Jesus you have to do as he did and as he says. That is the way to know God.

They don't worship jesus?

They say jesus Is god (he is divine and perfect as god if not is)

If jesus wasn't god incarnate, they feel jesus as "just human" wouldn't have the authority to speak for his father.

They don't separate incarnation from creator as the bible does when it says jesus is the medium or high prophet. In doing so, I would assume they feel it's devaluing christ even though the father said christ is his "mouthpiece." They do worship jesus. Biblically, it's contrary to the bible but each person relates to the creator in different ways. Some as christ (incarnation) and others through (medium between god and man).

the name of names implies all that is formed is formed from the unformed. i will be that being.

so then why pick a small piece and worship it when there is the Absolute?

so what ever you deem least, less, and you do unto it, is that not jesus too?
