Why do movies put it on God?

Well I just watched all of the left behind movies and was disgusted. It seems the thing they wanted to leave you with is God is cruel and evil. Everything was the fault of God.

They seem to take man out of the equation.

Ok here is my point. I hear plenty of crap in Debate section about the cruelty of God. Well I got the feeling from the movie that the man part had been left a little weak. I moean man will bring the wrath of God down upon himself due to his sinful nature.

I did not see this as the focus. I saw it as another thing to make some not believe.
