Why do people hate Muslims?

If the text is inconsistent, then it renders any claims to be sacred or the arbiter of absolute truth to be obsolete.

Again, here you are acting like you disagree but actually saying the same thing:

I said the Quran is harmless because of its contradictions.

You say, no, the contradiction makes the Quran obsolete.

Harmless or obsolete we are basically saying the same thing, we acknowledge it is powerless. However, in the process, you personalize the debate and start insulting the other person, as you also did with Rival. Then you essentially hijack the thread, go off topic and make false claims about the other's position

Now you are saying you don't care about what is in the Quran. Well obviously, u aren't a Muslim so why should you? However, when we are debating why people hate Muslims, what is in the Quran becomes relevant since it is a part of being a Muslim. Similarly knowing their history becomes relevant. Without knowing these things determining the size of the problem, its causes and finding an affordable practical solution becomes difficult. Otherwise, good lick with your debate

While Islamic terrorists are inspired by the Quran, the American wars of natural resources have not helped the situation in the middle east at all.

America has played a huge role in destroying the Middle East and spawning this new form of fundamentalism.
Indeed, it's time we finished what we started over there.

I don't think so. I think they are inspired by money. There is a lot of cash involved. Like Putin said "It is who ever pays more."

Physical needs comes first.

I agree that the fanatics/extremists/terrorists "they are inspired by money", their doings have nothing to do with Quran/Islam/Muhammad. Please

Muslims in general have no interest in merging ito American Society, In general they hate us and democracy.-- Their goal is the overthrow of American democracy and to replace it SHARIA LAW
Most Muslims that come seek on free shelter, free food and free healthcare stay separate and try to institute Sharia Law, all Muslims Mosques are a place of training and subverting the American way.. Always remember when you see muslim women out there protesting and so forth, always remember the head male of each household holds the power of life and death over everyone else in that household, He is free to maim, rape, disfigure, torture, and kill anyone in his house and is fully protect under Sharia law. Women under Sharia Law have no rights they are like a tv or a couch owned by the head of that house and she must do as told under pain of death most women that come to America and then try to do more than their husband wants , they the husband's in some cases have resorted to throwing acid in heir face thus disfiguring them for life. in 22 cases in the USA so far the male head of a hose has demanded to be tryied under Sharia Law in a USA courtroom and in 22 cases judges have allowed this. These judges should be disbarred and thrown in jail. We now have towns in Michigan under Sharia Law. in 1954, I think, a law was passed outlawing Sharia law in the USA it is reporded that there are 50,000 muslim household in he USA and when the ISIS posted a terrorist manual on the internet 50,000 Muslim'd house downloaded this manual.
People should read the Koran and learn thy believe they should befriend you and then convert you to muslim. if you refuse or change back to your old ways they are then free to kill you. Obama brought in about 10,000 or so muslim in his first 4 years as president, He gave them free housing, free food, and free healthcare as yet they haven't gotten a job, learned to speak English they remain separated and practice Sharia law among themselves.
Those the Liberal's and democrats that want them here are just doing this to spite Trump's illegal immagrants, so if you agree with the liberals please get a job and help pay to supports these freeloaders, Hanoi Jane , and Rosie o'donnell need your help. so these vermin can stay here.

I suspect it's more of a cultural issue. Truth is, from what I've read in the Quran, it's kind of "oblique" as to it's meaning. I could probably find a way to criticize or support Islam depending on how I choose to interpret any particular passage.

Any criticism can likely be labeled biased whether the criticism warrants it or not.

So culturally, some folks who happen to be Muslims are taught to despise the west and it's culture. Some areas specifically in the world they are taught to hate the west from a young age.

I think we need to stop targeting the religion as the religion is practically irrelevant, and maybe find a means to identify the anti-western culture, Jihadist-holy war, anti-secular, middle-eastern folks.

I think I'm just going to start referring to them as Jihadists.
