So much economic inequality in Edmonton that I seen today at night it's just anger inducing.

It’s called capitalism, and this is how it works; those with no capital or property have nothing to bring to the marketplace but their labour, and if for whatever reason they are unable to sell their labour, those people have no more economic value than unwanted stock. So unless they are fortunate enough to live in a society whose values are not entirely materialistic, people of no economic value are left out with the trash.
