Our growing awareness of the natural laws governing the evolution of the universe, conclusively proves that there can be no guiding spirit, no universal mind nor creative intelligence, and certainly no God behind our seemingly miraculous existence. Apparently.
Now that science has shown us what we can achieve, we have no need of God, or religion. Or poetry, or art, or wonder at the mysteries of existence - for soon, of course, there will be no mysteries, and man in his hubris will occupy the throne from which he has ejected God.
