That's pretty observant.I think city-dwellers who have been in the same city for a long time develop an attachment to their cities. Even people who may not care much about their country or state, there's still an attachment to the city they grew up in.
Yeah but what are the reasons behind why cities attract people ? And why cities decline and become less relevant with fewer people ?It's oftentimes easy to see why a city might have grown originally, but some cities manage to become even bigger and maintain themselves, while other cities decline and become less significant over time.
