Your fashion is timeless.I'm not sure they did.
Speaking as the forum's fashion icon, I never see pictures from the past of people wearing a top hat, floral shirts with striped ties and plaid trousers with argyle socks like I do today.
Only when I forget my pocket watch.Your fashion is timeless.
If turnips were watches I'd have one by my side. Or if watches were turnips, can't remember. Anyway, you get my drift.Only when I forget my pocket watch.

I read something that said people long ago seldom changed their outerwear, but the changing of undergarments happened very frequently.I dressed suitably for work, in my case probably ott smart. Outside work I'll dress how i feel the need. So most of the time I'm casual.
I think that's probably the same for most people, for work they dress as required, for play, they dress as is comfortable
Historically people dressed as was customery, casual clothing was not really thing. You had one set of decent clothes, when they wore out you bought new and passed the old clothes on to those who were in need.

Says the guy who hunts for drop bears in his underwear.Shorts and a t-shirt are stylish.

Well, it might have scared any drop bears away without a fight.Would you have preferred I did it nekkid?
I actually like wearing smart clothes for occasions that I deem worthy of it but sloppy at home is all good,I appreciate a woman in a nice dress though, who wouldn’t.

So sloppy is good for you while women have to dress nice for you? Sounds kind of sexist to me
I don't know where you are from, but from where I'm from women dress for themselves.
No man ever lived telling a woman what clothes to wear.
Last time we took a vacation, my husband tried to instruct me how to pack.I don't know where you are from, but from where I'm from women dress for themselves.
