Why is it ok for USA

Why is it ok for USA to have nuclear weapons but they tell everyone else it is not ok?
Example with Iran, Why can USA keep their weapons but Iran can become nuked by USA if they do not get rid of their nuclear weapon? where is the logic?
Most likely it's just a talking point. It's rhetoric. It's most likely that Iran already has nuclear weapons. Just look at how Israel easily and successfully developed nuclear weapons in secret. North Korea did also in spite of U.S. embargo. Do you really think the Iranians have been sitting on their thumbs this whole time?

No i do believe that most of the rich countries in the world have nuclear weapons of some sort. But why do USA always say different countries should not be allowed to have?
Personally, i am against the use of weapons, but I accept that the world does have developed them, but should only USA be the one who is allowed to keep it? To me, it looks like Trump and his government wish to denuclearize the world, but keep their own nuclear weapons .
I hope i am wrong

But more importantly: why should there be wars or conflicts between Westerners?
This cold veiled hostility between Russia and USA is really tiresome.
The Berlin wall fell in 1989.
We Italians are de facto a strategical military colony of the USA but we are Putin's allies too and we don't want to renounce this alliance.

I am for a denuclearization everywhere

USA developed nuclear weapon in a race against the Nazis, who were already developing the next generation of weapons, such as jets and missiles. Hitler was not afraid to use the these weapons, which would soon include nukes. He would have nuked London using his missiles. England was the last stronghold in Europe, and then it was off to the USA. Luckily, Hitler did not wait for his advanced weapons before he started his invasion of Europe. Had Hitler waited, the USA may have been beaten to the punch. Hitlers early aggression alerted us to his futuristic weapons plans. Many scientists left Germany, out of fear of his intentions, with their new science. The US and Russian each got some of these scientists.

Thereafter, the international litmus test for nukes was, countries who are aggressive, by their rhetoric and behavior, would not be allowed to have nukes, while defensive countries, usually connected to the allies of WW2, would be allowed.

USA is a super power and only used nukes to end the war with offensive minded Japan. After that it was nothing by R&D. Russia and China also would develop nukes. Both were part of the Allies in WW2, with Russia against Germany and China against Japan. They were both defensive countries, who had been invaded and wanted a future deterrent.

Iran is a sponsor of terror, who openly chant their intention to invade and kill. It is feared they will use nukes as an offensive weapon. Nobody is threatening Iran, since they are strong in that region. Nukes are not needed for their defense. Iraq was a threat but Iraq is no linger aggressive.

Countries, who are dictatorships, like Iran, with poor economies, tend to put all their eggs in the war basket. The same is true of North Korea. There is fear that some renegade generals, are itching to use the nukes, for the glory of war. Whoever nuked Israel, for example, would get their names in the Iranian history books. The temptation is real, therefore, nukes are forbidden.

Saudi Arabia is not aggressive and if they were being threatened with invasion, they may decide on nukes and may even get them. This litmus test allowed Israel to get nukes decades ago.

Do you realize that you have decisively avoided answering the question in the OP?

Maybe you should consider the contradictions of your stance.

So all the wars and aggression USA have done from 2001until now, 18 years is ok? but as soon as an "enemy" of USA have some strong weapons it is forbidden? And Iran is not even close to America, Iran is closer to Europe and EU and Nato(except USA) has said Iran has not yet done anything illegal outside Iran`s border. So how come Iran suddenly get the bad guys?
You do know that USA in the 70s was the one who created the Taliban? it was CIA who founded that group, and today? Suddenly they become Americas enemy. I find that strange.

What about the Iraq war, Afghanistan war, Syria war, Korea war, All of them America has been the frontrunner and been sending troops to foreign countries. What right have USA to invade an other country?

This is an interesting question with the word "invade".

1) Would you prefer that ISIS continue invading other countries and eventually your own?
2) Did you ever ask the Koreans (South) whether they feel like they were invaded?
3) Are you fine with Syrians continue the use of chemical warfare?

Of course i can say no to all your question, But the reason i asked the OP is because i am sick and tired of America playing world police, Europe can take care of them self, we dont need America to be police here.

That double standard has been in existence for a very long time, I'm afraid.

Might makes right.

It's just like when we shot down their airliner killing 290 civilians.
They didn't send bombers over here to kill in retaliation.
But they shoot down an unmanned drone in their airspace,
& Trump authorized laying waste to their country.
We matter. They don't. Life has no value there.

Rumsfeld helped NK get nukes.

It would be nice. But they have to stop asking for it too. (It's a two way street, isn't it?)

Maybe its already happening?

The logic is that people having nukes is a bad thing, so others should be discouraged from developing them. This is a double standard I'm all in favour of. Actually most countries in the world are in favour of it, as 190 have signed the Nuclear NPT.

Would you prefer that other countries were not discouraged from getting nukes (leading to their neighbours following suit, and their neighbours...)?

Of course, if I were Iran then I would most certainly want to develop a nuclear deterrent as a superpower keeps threatening me.

The US didn't create the Taliban in the 1970s.

The Taliban are a Sunni fundamentalist militant group, founded by Mullah Mohammad Omar, that emerged in 1994 during Afghanistan’s civil war (1992-1996).

The Taliban, or “religious students” in Pashto, were just one of many factions in the civil war.
