Why do you suppose that rascally devil focuses on N. America with his dastardly Hollywood hijinks?

The hocus-pocus if stage magicians. Cheesy, cliche act.It looks like she had a mild seizure to me. Disturbing indeed, but I doubt hocus-pocus was to blame.
Given that most Christians in the U.S. vote for politicians whose platform and policies are antithetical to the teachings and examples of Christ, they too are misled by that naughty fellow. The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. 1John 5:19

I don't discount paranormal possibilities. We have some wild ideas such as quantum mechanics, multiverses, string theory, etc. that are considered plausible by the scientific community, and our knowledge and understanding of the universe certainly isn't 100%.
The problem is that evidence is easily faked or misidentified, and so has to be dismissed. Another problem is that the subject is approached with arbitrary presumptions that add layers of bull**** rather than peel them away.
I wouldn't touch a spirit board even if my life depended upon it, and no one could pay me enough to use one. It was a nightmare for me the last time I used one when I was 17, and I vowed I'd never use one again. I refuse to use one whenever I communicate with spirits. Also, I can't emphasize enough that a Ouija board is not a toy. It's a powerful device to communicate with spirits, and once you open a portal to the other side, you have to be sure to close it, but you never know who or what will come through it.
Sorry, but I disagree. It's a mass-produced object made of cardboard and plastic, there is nothing special about it. My older sibling used the one we had as a desk blotter all through high school, never created a portal to another realm nor unleashed anything.
I have used ouija and other spirit boards (and tarot and pendulums), they're inanimate objects. A person could make their own by drawing symbols or letters on a sheet of paper and inverting a shot glass... it's still paper and a shot glass. Any activity is entirely generated by the users and, in my experience, most stories are either fabrications or imagination. Like most paranormal accounts of ghosts, possessions and the like, a small minority of accounts are legitimate or unexplainable.
It's the power of suggestion. Benny Hinn mastered that...It looks like she had a mild seizure to me. Disturbing indeed, but I doubt hocus-pocus was to blame.
